ZOFRAN LAWSUITS

Zofran (ondansetron) is a prescription drug indicated for the prevention of nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy. GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) unlawfully marketed and promoted Zofran for treating pregnant women with morning sickness without ever receiving approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

In July 2012, GSK agreed to pay $3 billion to settle a lawsuit brought by the U.S. Department of Justice for the unlawful marketing and promotion of certain prescription drugs, including Zofran.

Tragically, medical studies have revealed that Zofran may cause serious birth injuries to developing babies including cleft lip/cleft palate and heart injuries such as ventricular septal defect (VSD), atrial septal defect (ASD), hypoplastic heart syndrome, and Tetralogy of Fallot.

If you or a family member took Zofran (ondansetron) during pregnancy and gave birth to a child with cleft lip/cleft palate or heart injuries, contact Jacob for a free case review. SE HABLA ESPANOL.
